Mission
At Emmanuel Lutheran Global Seminary, we equip leaders to preach, teach, lead, and serve faith communities in Florida and worldwide. Through innovative mentor-based learning, students are spiritually, intellectually, and vocationally formed into effective and skilled church leaders.
Partnering with the Florida-Bahamas Synod, Emmanuel Global Seminary provides adult learners with an educational opportunity in Florida to earn their Master of Divinity degree as they work towards Ordination within the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Our affordable, flexible programs allow students to continue to work in their communities and serve their families and congregations as they learn and grow. Our program intentionally leverages the seminarian's congregation as a learning site for the student's faith and practical formation.
Our Vision: Through our reformation of theological education, sufficient levels of well-equipped multi-lingual ordained pastors will fill each pulpit, church, and community in need.
